I use a lot of fresh herbs from my garden, and stripping them by manus is a time-consuming process. This was something I didn't look to work out. I tried everything else and none of them worked. But, to my delight, I was surprised. I tried thyme, oregano, rosemary, and parsley, and fifty-fifty wet leaves striped well with the comb. Just the rosemary proved difficult, merely reversing direction and pulling the leaves in the opposite management worked well. I'm content with myself. Clean stalks and how I did information technology can be seen in the photos. It's really good!.

It is effective! I'd seen similar things before, but I didn't think anything could piece of work as well as this

I tried it out tonight, and it's going to save me a lot of time. Normally, I cut small leaves from my herbs (from my gardens), which takes a long time and is something I despise doing. I was picking up a few thyme springs to add to some roasted vegetables when I remembered I had ordered this. After the kickoff swipe, one-half a second subsequently - I wished I'd picked up a few more thymes! This device is a miracle worker in miniature. Information technology appeals to me.

This is a fantastic little device. This year, my daughter had a bumper crop of kale, so I purchased one for her and two more for myself. one for me and i for my other daughter, who besides gets a share of the kale harvest! This device is unproblematic to operate, and information technology makes removing that tough stem much easier than using a knife or doing it by manus.

Designing with a purpose of constraint

As a result, in some cases, this will work. kale, rosemary, basil, and parsley are just a few of the herbs that tin be found in this dish. Things that are bigger.
Nonetheless, I purchased this very specifically because it was advertised to work with thyme and oregano. It sort of worked on the oregano. At least l% of the On thyme, it was a complete failure. I accept three dissimilar types of thyme: big foliage, small leafage, and a combination of the two. On the thyme, it had no effect at all. There wasn't a unmarried foliage that fell off by accident. The comb teeth, fifty-fifty at their smallest size, are far too large for the smaller-sized animals. herbs in the form of leaves You might be able to get abroad with harvesting only the thicker woody stem thyme strands. If you're working with newer growth, however, you'll want to go green. thyme stems - nope. br>br>I'm going to proceed it considering information technology'll work on kale. It's likewise inexpensive to send it dorsum considering it tastes like vegetables. Merely, homo, what a squandered opportunity to give the rummage a 2d, smaller prepare of teeth to piece of work on thyme. br>br>The suitability of this device to the advertised functionality is reflected in its rating. It would take gotten a lot more than points if it had only been advertised for large leafage herbs.

I'one thousand not sure where this came from

I used it to clean some fresh Cilantro from the garden, and it took less than two minutes to practise what took me 10 minutes of careful trimming with a abrupt knife. I showed it to a few of my friends, and they immediately went to Amazon and ordered one. My only regret is that I paid $12 for mine, and they are now selling for about half that.

Fresh herbs and greens in the kitchen but cannot be replaced. The season deviation betwixt snipping a thyme or rosemary stalk versus using a store-bought dried shaker bottle is night and day. The tediousness of threading the tiny leaves off of the stems, on the other hand, tin can add unnecessary minutes to the meal prep time. I had no idea this niggling gadget existed until I came across information technology on Amazon while searching for some other kitchen tool (herb scissors, I believe), and now I have two (in case one gets lost in the dishwasher). ) Information technology simplifies the process of de-germinating and stripping herbs. It's so piece of cake to stalk greens!.

It doesn't work on thyme, which is why I bought information technology in the first place
